Venezuela Could Join The Countries With Bitcoin ATMs

Venezuela is a country that continues to accelerate its growth in the cryptographic environment on a day-to-day basis, this nation, despite the social, political, and economic circumstances it has gone through and continues to experience this tense environment, has decided to implement cryptocurrencies in your economy fully. Also, you can utilize tax tips for Bitcoin traders and investors. So much is its eagerness and dedication to achieve economic stability, which is extremely necessary for all the inhabitants, that the government had been studying the creation of its cryptocurrency for some years. The Petro is the cryptocurrency that Venezuela created and implemented to give relief to the economic crisis it is going through. This cryptocurrency is backed by the largest oil reserve in the world. Due to the significant falls in crude oil values in international markets due to disagreements in OPEC, Petro has not achieved a good revaluation and provided the expected benefits.

New technologies in cryptocurrencies arrive in Venezuela

Currently, bitcoin is the cryptocurrency with the most significant acceptance and implementation in electronic commerce worldwide; due to this, the need has arisen to implement ATMs that can dispense cash then make changes for bitcoin. Venezuela could not be the exception since two new specialized and automatic teller machines arrived that allows you to acquire bitcoin with dollars in cash. These teams have already been installed in Caracas, the capital of this country. These ATMs are owned by the Cryptobuyer Company, which also provides various private businesses with a payment network that offers the possibility of continuously making purchases with cryptocurrencies. This implementation was made public via the company’s podcast. The CEO of Cryptobuyer, Jorge Farías, explained that only two machines were installed to make bitcoin purchases during this test period. One of these ATMs is located in Las Mercedes in a bodegón, this being one of the most commercial and distinguished areas of eastern Caracas, and the other ATM is located in one of the branches of La Trinidad del Excelsior Gama, a chain of supermarkets that allow payments in bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies through the Cryptobuyer network.

Other ATMS and payment options with bitcoin in venezuela

The Cryptobuyer ATMs that have been installed join other devices already installed and available in the capital of this country. These Crypto ATMs are located in the Traki city stores, one of the countries largest and most significant retail franchises. In addition, in 2019, an ATM had already been implemented, as reported by the crypto news channel. Every day there are many possibilities available to Venezuelans to use and operate with bitcoin and many other virtual currencies. This news is delightful since apart from the implementation of ATMs, many businesses have adopted these digital currencies as payment and commercial exchange. During the past year, this was a very prominent aspect in the Venezuelan market, where in addition to the shops mentioned above and supermarkets, others such as Rattan and Sigo, located on the island of Margarita, a commercial space very preferred by tourists, are added. This implementation increased disproportionately due to an agreement between Cryptobuyer and Mega Soft, the most important provider of points of sale in this South American country. This agreement between both organizations allows approximately more than 20 thousand businesses to have the possibility of accepting payments with bitcoin and many other cryptocurrencies. In a short time after its implementation, at least 500 points of sale were already reported where some transactions with cryptocurrencies had been carried out.

Conclusion

This new strategy benefits the widespread trade of the Venezuelan capital since most people today handle cryptocurrencies, especially some Petros, which were assigned by the government as remuneration to pensioners and retirees, and public officials as an incentive for the Christmas holidays. In addition to Petros, there are many more cryptocurrencies handled in Venezuela, such as bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin, and others. Cryptocurrencies have been a boom since the vast majority of the population has become interested in this digital world. The cryptographic environment represents an investment possibility, which generates excellent profitability and economic development for those most excluded from the benefits of economic and social growth in the country. The economy’s future lies in digital currencies in Venezuela and worldwide; most businesses and establishments are adopting and implementing this new form of exchange and virtual commerce.

What is digitalization and why we should follow it

Today we will talk about digitization. What is it? What benefits can it bring to your business? In what areas has it already shown excellent results? What is digitization It started at the end of the 20th century, when the first digital devices appeared. With the widespread advent of the Internet and the advent of smartphones, the transition to digital rails has affected the majority of the world’s population. Digital media have replaced analog ones, and online stores have replaced the usual offline platforms. Even the learning process has now largely moved to online formats. There are, of course, critics of the new digital world, but, in fact, this is no longer the future, but the present. Digitalization is the process of transitioning a traditional business to the use of the latest technologies. This is literally what we can see all over the world right now. And it’s not just about the fact that you, for example, convert your workflow into digital format or start using the possibilities of social networks and e-commerce. This process implies a more global optimization of the company’s business processes, including ways of communicating with customers and within the company, information storage and processing processes, product development, services, and much more. So what are the benefits of digitization?
  1. Business process optimization and cost savings
The costs of time, human resources, and money are minimized. This is achieved by simplifying and automating all processes, including collection and analytics, communication, forecasting, etc. If earlier, for example, offline formats covered a large percentage outside the target audience and it was very difficult to hook exactly your client, now the possibilities of targeted advertising in social networks and mobile applications allow you to very accurately select the recipients of advertising campaigns, up to what interests have potential clients. By saving money, a company can invest the accumulated budget in the development of social networks and help its accounts grow. For example, entrepreneurs can take advertising from more popular accounts or buy Instagram followers for their company. This helps them grow their business faster and reach a larger audience.
  1. Competitive advantage
Digitization brings the quality of goods and services to a new level. A simple example: online trading. Now the client can find the right product in a few minutes, buy it in two clicks and arrange delivery to any location. Yes, there are areas that today necessarily involve offline processes, but there are fewer and fewer of them every day.
  1. Improving communication with customers and within the company
Digital technologies help the company’s employees to quickly resolve issues and tasks, avoiding paperwork. For example, postal services are launching an interface for tracking parcels online, as well as searching for shipments by phone number. Such measures help speed up customer service and slightly improve the reputation of companies. Examples of successful cases in various areas of the economy The Amazon platform has implemented an augmented reality function in its mobile application. The user can view a 3D model of the product in the interior of their home. This allows you to visually see the color and dimensions of the goods and reduce the number of returns. The car seat factory has become a major logistics service for Schnellecke Logistics. It all started with the fact that the company decided to optimize the supply of chairs. They automated the shipment and acceptance of goods, created a centralized management of equipment at the plant. As a result, the company began to track the number of seats from retailers, saw their needs and helped customers save millions on new purchases. Thus was born the universal logistics automation system, the first on the market. The world will never be the same again A new stage of digitization began with the introduction of a lockdown in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic. The rapid transition to online has allowed a number of business industries to maintain profits and avoid losing staff. Is there an alternative to digitization and can it be avoided? Apparently not. However, the pace of movement in this direction differs depending on the countries and sectors of the economy. For example, for large agricultural and industrial companies, this transition is not as easy as for start-ups and IT corporations. This trend is typical not only for the economies of almost all countries of the world. Even in the United States, which is one of the leaders in digital transformation, companies whose activities are related to large industrial production, real estate development, healthcare, agriculture and hospitality are the slowest to get involved in this process. But even these sectors of the economy are rapidly digitalizing. And those companies that do it first have a significant advantage over their competitors. Moreover, digitization in our time is the only way to survive in the market.

How to stop comparing yourself with coworkers

Excessive workplace comparison not only saps our joy, but it may also jeopardize our careers by focusing on what others are doing instead of how to be the best version of ourselves. Let’s look at how dangerous it is and how to avoid it. It’s difficult to be equal to others, no matter how hard we strive. Just because someone is more successful than we are at something in a certain setting doesn’t indicate we’ll get the same results if we try to emulate them. It’s especially true if the way they do things makes us feel extremely uncomfortable when we attempt. That individual has their own distinct and effective method of doing things, which may or may not work for us. Intense and continual comparison with coworkers hurts our productivity. Obsessing over attempting to be someone, we don’t consume time, energy, and sanity. Sure, we should strive to learn from others in order to improve ourselves, but dwelling on what they do and don’t do rather than getting down to business and growing as individuals is highly dysfunctional behavior.     Fortunately, there are healthy techniques to quit comparing ourselves to our coworkers so that we can advance in our jobs with less stress and anxiety. But first, we must be aware of the most common comparison traps in the workplace:

1. Talent

Don’t compare your abilities to those of others. It is critical to recognize that everyone is unique and, as a result, has unique characteristics. You can’t do everything they do, and they can’t do everything you do. Companies and communities exist because of diversity in abilities and skills; if we could all do everything, there would be no reason for them to exist. Some people are born to be talented doctors, while others are destined to be excellent lawyers, journalists, or paper writer service experts. That is why it is important to discover your calling and understand your skills and weaknesses.

2. Time in the company

Each person’s success and skills require time to develop. Some people find their real calling later in life than others. We should not compare ourselves to individuals who have been with the organization for decades or someone who has recently joined and has already outperformed us. We all move at our rate, and some people accomplish more than others.

3. Available resources

Numerous times, financial resources are required to achieve the professional goal. These funds can be used to pay for training, finish a program, or launch a new business. We should not be discouraged because we lack the same wealth or economic stability as others. Although money aids in achieving our objectives and professional goals, not having it should not be viewed as an insurmountable barrier; it will only take a little more time and work. Still, if we stay consistent, we will see benefits sooner or later. The harm of constantly comparing yourself with others Excessive comparison with coworkers has a negative impact on our job performance for various reasons, the most important of which are listed below.

1. It is a waste of time

It’s a waste of time to spend all of your time thinking about what other people are doing. What if we put that time to good use instead of wasting time comparing ourselves to others? That time could be better spent on training, analyzing our work performance and growth, or developing an area in which we need to improve?

2. It contributes to the creation of a toxic environment

Envy is bad for you, and it’s much worse at work. Excessive comparison with our coworkers can create a poisonous environment, where employees hold grudges towards the department leader or head. Employee resentment harms their work performance, work ethic, and trust.

3. It has a negative impact on your self-esteem

Comparing yourself to someone who appears to be great at everything won’t make you feel any better. Even if you compare yourself to others to make yourself feel better, this type of conduct is frequently motivated by insecurity and a compulsive desire to discover flaws in others. What if you looked for methods to respect your own merits and abilities instead of looking for flaws in others? Analyze your performance rather than that of others. It’s critical to remember that the only person you should compare yourself to is your previous self. If you compare yourself to others, attempt to disrupt the destructive cycle by focusing on yourself. Are you doing a better job this week than you did last week? Have you recently learned something new? Is your skill level higher than it was a month ago? Final thoughts  Remember to keep your vision in mind. You will be motivated to move forward if you have a clear picture of who you want to be and where you want to go. If you haven’t yet defined your job vision, now is a fantastic opportunity. Stop focusing on your current difficulties, setbacks, and failures and start thinking about where you want to go. Maintain and keep your vision in mind by working toward the end objective every day. Comparing yourself to others will become less important as you get closer to your goal.

Nurse educators: 6 reasons why they are important in healthcare

The shortage of nurses in the current times across various areas of healthcare highlights why nurse educators are essential in healthcare. In hospitals, patients with serious injuries and medical conditions require experienced and qualified staff to treat them. The high-quality care that patients need is only possible if you have nurses with the most advanced knowledge. The role of nurse educators is essential to ensure that nurses have the right knowledge and skills to work in the dynamic healthcare environment. Their job is to strengthen the workforce and provide the leadership needed to implement evidence-based practices. They work in both clinical and classroom settings, but the end goal is to prepare the future generation of nurses. Their job becomes more serious as more nurses retire at the end of their service years. Hence, if new nurses are not present to take various nursing positions, the gap will continue to widen.

A sneak peek into nursing shortage numbers

According to statistical data, 1.1 million more nurses will be needed in the coming years to make up for the demand and replace aging nurses. But most alarming is the fact that there are more vacant positions than nurses available to fill those positions. Take the example of Registered Nurses; their employment might increase by 9%, which is five times less than the rate at which new nursing jobs are added into the sector. So, if you don’t have qualified nurse educators, who will train new nurses to assume their positions? Nursing shortage can have a serious impact on the quality of patient care. It is no longer time to debate over nurse administrator vs nurse practitioner roles and the pros and cons of each position because healthcare needs nurses at all levels and positions. To know more about why nurse educators are important, continue reading.
  1. High-responsibilities educational roles
Nurse educators are known for their high-responsibility roles. They play a part in developing an effective nursing curriculum and nursing studies and courses, teaching, and evaluating learning. They also document the nursing education outcomes and the efficacy of the nursing curricula in meeting the patient care needs. Their job is to pursue constant quality control measures to improve nursing studies. They teach in nursing schools and community colleges and work with other faculty members to maintain the quality of education.
  1. Their role as collaborators
They often play the role of collaborators who bring together other professionals and build meaningful partnerships. Apart from the staff and faculty members, they also collaborate with students learning from them or other professionals. Hence, they prepare students to work in a collaborative environment where many professionals across different areas work together.
  1. Encourage students to identify their potential
Apart from their educational roles, they have advisory roles too. They guide students to engage in socially responsible work that impacts the communities. They also have the duty to participate in professional associations and encourage students to be part of discussion forums. These activities can help students identify their true potential and areas where they can excel.
  1. Role model for students in the educational and clinical setting
Nurse educators are roles model for students who will soon become an integral part of healthcare. Their mentorship and guidance have far-reaching impacts on students. The same principles are being implemented later in professional life. Their importance amplifies in the clinical settings because the students look towards their teachers for feedback and as critiques of their services. Their mentorship helps novice nurses excel in decision making, patient care, and patient interaction.
  1. Prepare Future leaders
Leaders are not always born; they often develop over time. Individuals become leaders by equipping students with the right knowledge, concepts, skills, and simulations. Nurse educators prepare future leaders. They introduce management and organizational theories to today’s nursing students. Their mentorship helps them overcome the challenges that leaders might face in today’s environment. Based on the strong training imparted by experienced nurse educators, novice nurses are ready to take up challenging roles. Nurse students learn to make effective patient care decisions, improve patient care quality, and evaluate patient care outcomes to modify their future interventions.
  1. Help in the implementation of evidence-based practices
The implementation of evidence-based practices is a hot topic in healthcare. You can no longer implement old and obsolete practices not backed by any research. Without nurses educators, healthcare might be blind to the effective implementation of evidence-based practices. They prepare their students to critically evaluate the research findings and gauge their feasibility of practical implementation. Implementation of evidence-based practices can bring promising results for nurses as it can help them perform their job effectively. Nurses who use evidence-based practices are better decision-makers and problem solvers.

How to become a nurse educator?

Becoming a nurse educator does not require you to leave your work in the clinical setting. Many nurses continue to work as patient care providers alongside their job in academia. The educational requirements are not very tricky either. You must be an RN, after which you need to have an MSN degree. However, many universities and nursing schools may require a doctorate for teaching. You can get into an MSN program after earning a BSN degree. You can also enroll in an RN to MSN nurse practitioner program. In the latter option, you spend less time as it is a fast-track program.

What skills do nurse educators require?

The job of nurse educators is crucial for healthcare as it intends to develop talent that will ultimately serve in healthcare. Therefore, they need a set of skills to excel in their role. They need effective communication skills to impart learning to their students. Effective communication helps them understand the concerns of their students and guide them in the right manner. More work is organized around teams and needs the collaboration of functional groups. Therefore, management and organizing skills help them with interpersonal skills, work in teams and collaborate with other professionals. Time management is another skill nurse educators require. They should be able to effectively split their time for various mentoring responsibilities in educational institutions and clinical duties in hospitals.

Conclusion

The need for qualified nurse educators is very urgent. It won’t take long before the shortage of skilled nurses starts impacting the quality of care current nurses provide. Overworking can exhaust them immensely, leading to costly clinical mistakes. Nurses educators are needed to train new nurses, manage the current nurse’s burden, and optimize the nurse-to-patient ratio in hospitals.

What are the biggest challenges or issues that nurses face today

Nursing is one of the tedious professions within the healthcare sector. Your job extends from caring for patients to brushing up on your skills. The constant juggling of responsibilities can make you struggle as a professional healthcare worker. Following the pandemic, a new wave of challenges has entered the scene. Issues like worker shortage, longer shifts, and lack of protection as you work with infectious diseases can take a toll. Therefore, the only way forward is to highlight these circumstances, which will help you manage yourself better. Here are some of the challenges working in the healthcare sector can bring:

1.       Struggle To Provide Highly Specific Care to Patients

Every patient is unique and requires care in a certain way. As a nurse, it is your job to ensure you can match the patients’ expectations. However, you may get limited by your current qualifications. The nursing sector is specific. You need to have the knowledge, skills, and degree to optimize patient care. If you work without paying any heed towards upgrading, you will struggle to look after patients. While going back to nursing school, full-time may not be an option. You can enroll yourself into online Post Masters DNP programs and fast-track your way to success. Getting a highly professional degree like DNP will prepare you for better caring techniques. But, this option is only possible if you are willing to go the extra mile for your career.

2.       Dealing With a Nursing Shortage

Shortage of workers in any field means more work. In the nursing sector, when you don’t have enough team members, a large chunk of cases become your responsibility. Nursing shortage happens for many reasons, including lack of hiring, high turnover of population, and lack of resources to train the new staff. It is not easy to work through many cases alone since this also leads to patients waiting longer for their turn. So, not only do you risk burnout, but the hospital’s reputation may also be in jeopardy. At the end of your shift, you may feel exhausted, angry, and irritable, which can easily seep into your personal life, pushing loved ones away from you. In some instances, you will also have to stay back working long shifts with minimal breaks in between. This can severely impact your sleep schedule.

3.       Rapid Introduction of Technological advancements

The nursing sector has become incredibly tech-savvy. While concepts like big data, AI, and machine learning are pioneers in reshaping the healthcare sector, you still need to learn how to use them. As a nurse, you will need to keep up with these advancements to provide the best care to patients. Advanced technological concepts require time and dedication before you start understanding the purpose of each tool. The first few attempts to create a database may be unsuccessful, discouraging you from trying again.

4.       The Strain of Physical Labor

Your job is not limited to patient interaction and taking notes. You will also need to out in some manual labor. You will need to lift heavy equipment with your team, such as moving machines, lifting patients, and sometimes carrying boxes of samples and machines. When working with heavy objects, you need to heed caution since the frequent bending and picking up new items to pack will cause back pain. The gaps in your spine will cause you discomfort and prevent you from carrying out a routine. Eventually, you may need to quit work early because of your physical well-being.

5.       Exposure to Infections and Diseases

Even though the nursing sector handled the pandemic of 2019 with cutting-edge expertise, it also put their lives on the line. As a nurse, you are always in danger of getting infected or exposed to strong chemical solutions. The lack of protective gear from the hospital’s end also increases getting sick at work. Without a suitable respirator, you may contract pneumonia and the cold flu. When handling apparatus like injection syringes and scalpels, you may injure yourself with the used equipment. As a result, you can involuntarily introduce a new disease in your body, such as HIV or hepatitis C. Unless you get treated right away, you also risk the wound getting infected, which may take a toll on your health. Chemical solvents like acids and cleaners can damage your lungs and cause you to become lightheaded.

6.       Dealing with Aggressive Patients

Not every patient you meet will be forthcoming. Some patients are highly aggressive and may mistreat you while you’re working. This includes shouting, yelling, and threatening you if they’re not happy with their lab results. Some patients also take it further and may harass you at work by making sexual advances. Certain patients may also escalate the situation and physically assault you causing you to become injured. In 2020 over 20% of American nurses were physically attacked at work. The patient’s relatives may also share this aggression by attacking you, assaulting you, and filing unnecessary complaints against you. It is unfortunate that no matter how compassionate you may be as a nurse, there will still be patients who may shatter you completely.

7.       Poor Emotional Well-being

The stressful working environment will eventually take a toll on you as a nurse. You will start crumbling under pressure and impacting your emotional well-being. You may show signs of depression, anxiety, and symptoms of burnout. These make you skip work or mishandle patient files, which violates the regulations of HIPAA and can land you in serious trouble. During the COVID-19, most nurses experienced severe mental health crises. These nurses felt isolated alone, with some reaching their wit’s end unable to cope.

Final Thoughts

There is no denying that becoming a nurse is the most challenging profession you have to deal with. The endless work pile, aggrieved patients, exposure to chemicals will all take a toll on you. Unless hospitals get involved and take care of the nursing staff, these problems are here to stay. These factors work in unison, impacting your emotional and physical well-being, which can put your job and life on the line.

8 Free Ways to Read Articles Without Subscription

In the pandemic era, everything’s become digital, be it watching shows and movies, getting groceries, or reading articles. However, there are many times when you come across articles based on celebrity gossip, gaming, or other niches that strike your interest. But, as soon as you read a paragraph or a few lines, you’re prompted with a pop-up requesting to pay for reading further. Most of us just close the tab when this happens and bid farewell to the article.  But you and I don’t have to do that anymore. Because in this guide, we’re going to tell you a few ways to read articles with no subscription.

8 Ways to Read Articles with no Subscription

Here are a few quick and easy ways to read all your favourite articles till the end with no subscription:

1. Using a Free VPN service:

A virtual private network (VPN) is a quick way to alter your location virtually anywhere. There are websites present on the internet that keep track of your IP address and allow you to read around five articles for free.  However, if you change your location using a VPN, you can read five articles per location. If a VPN offers servers in 50 countries, you can get five turns per location. Isn’t that cool? If you’re confused about which VPN to go for, then you can always choose one of the best free of cost VPNs and enjoy reading!

2. Reset browser cookies:

Many websites and publications exist on the internet that do not initially ask you to sign up for any trial or subscription plan, but later prompt you to pay for reading more articles.  This is because they are using cookies to track the number of blogs/articles you’re reading. You can always clear your cookies to avoid this tracking. While every browser clears cookies differently, here is how you can do it on Google Chrome:
  1. Press the three dots option in the top-right corner of your browser.
  2. Click on More Tools > Clear Browsing Data.
  3. Visit the Advanced tab. Tick the ‘Cookies and other site data’ and ‘Cached images and files’ boxes.
  4. Click on Clear data.

3. Save a PDF file of the article:

A prompt asking you to pay can hinder you while enjoying an article online on the subject you have a particular interest in. But, you cannot be stopped if you save the article on your computer as a pdf file or the phone.

4. Search for a duplicate article:

On the internet, you’ll find many websites that copy articles from various publications and publish them as they are on their site.  These websites can be quite useful for you if you want to read blocked articles with a paywall. To search for these articles, all you have to do is copy the article’s title and search for it. To achieve better results, you can add quotation marks around the title.

5. Use Incognito mode to open articles:

This trick might be effective in a few articles, but you can use the rest of the hacks on others. There are no previous track records cached on the incognito mode. A paywall is barely a problem there.  All you need to do is copy the link of the article from your normal Chrome tab and paste it into the incognito one.

6. Stop the page from loading before the paywall prompt blocks it.

The sixth way to read articles with no subscription is to immediately stop the page from loading before the paywall blocks you.  For this, all you’re required to do is to click on the cross prompt beside the address bar. This will prevent the page from loading any further. While this trick is also more like a trial-and-error option, it’s still worth a try.

7. Read the blog on your phone’s browser:

Various websites with embedded paywalls only target users accessing the website from their computers. Because of some reasons, they don’t embed the paywall on mobile devices.  This can be used as an advantage. You can access the webpage on your mobile and check if you can access it for free. Please note that this trick doesn’t work for multiple sites, including the New York Times.

8. Use services offering temporary accounts.

A few websites across the internet offer temporary free accounts that anyone can use to access various paid services.  Websites like BugmeNot.com allow community members to share sign-in information for multiple paid sites using which you can search for any article you desire to read. You’ll be able to bypass the payment prompt while pretending to be an authentic user.

Conclusion

That’s all for today. You can bypass the payment prompt and read all your favorite news pages and articles without subscription using these free and effective tips. Some of these tricks may be a hit-and-miss, so it’s better that you continue trying until you succeed. However, we assure you that once you bypass that paywall, you can enjoy unlimited reading access to all the articles you’ve been meaning to enjoy. Have fun reading!
