How to Get the Most Out of Your CBD

As the popularity of CBD oil continues to grow, so does the number of people looking for ways to use it most effectively. While some people may be unsure how to take CBD oil or what dose is right for them, others may simply look for new ways to enjoy its benefits. In this blog post, we’ll explore a few tips on how to get the most out of your CBD oil. Keep reading to learn more!

Use the Right Consumption Method

One of the best ways to get the most out of your CBD is by ensuring you are using the right consumption method. Of course, this might sound a bit confusing since you might think every CBD consumption method allows you to consume CBD, but as it turns out, some methods are better than others for different things.

What does this mean? Different consumption methods, like an edible or vaporizer, allow different amounts of CBD to be consumed, which is necessary if you attempt to treat anything. Likewise, different consumption methods have different durations of effects, which, again, is crucial if you are trying to treat anything.

Find the Best Dosage for You

Another way you can get the most out of your CBD is by using the best dosage. Everyone is different, and everyone responds differently to varying amounts of CBD. Before assuming that CBD won’t ever work for you because nothing happened the first time you used it, you should check to see how much you actually consumed.

If you want to feel a general calmness, you don’t need to consume that much. However, if you are having trouble falling asleep or are feeling more anxious than usual, you might need to take a bit more. Also, remember that there is a certain threshold where you won’t gain any more benefits, and if you consume too much, sometimes you won’t get any benefits.

Try Full Spectrum

Most people new to CBD don’t realize that all CBD products aren’t the same and that there are actually three types of CBD products on the market. These products are CBD isolate, broad spectrum CBD, and full spectrum CBD.

What’s the difference? CBD isolate is essentially just CBD, with nothing else at all. Broad spectrum CBD contains most of the cannabinoids, with only a trace amount of THC. Full spectrum CBD, on the other hand, basically contains all of the cannabinoids and less than 0.3% THC. The reason you should try full spectrum CBD to get the most out of it is because, as mentioned above, it contains all the cannabinoids, which provide you with the “Entourage Effect.”

Read the Instructions

This might sound a little silly, but it might be worth your while to read the instructions on the packaging when buying a CBD product if you want to get the most out of it. Reading the instructions and the bottle is a good practice, especially if you want to find out what ingredients the product contains so you can safely consume CBD.

More importantly, many people new to CBD might not consume it correctly. For example, with tinctures, it’s actually suggested to hold the liquid under your tongue for at least 30 seconds (some people do it for 2 minutes), so that the salivary glands can absorb the CBD.

Try to Get from a Dispensary

Finally, the last thing you should do to get the most out of your CBD is to try and get it from a dispensary. This is because headshops tend to only supply 300 mg per 30 mL for vape juice, for example, and the more potent bottles are quite expensive.

And to treat anxiety symptoms, one would need to consume between 25 to 75 milligrams per day. If you were to vape that, that would be the equivalent of 3 mL, and since most vape cartridges are only 2 ml, you would need to consume two and a half cartridges daily.

It would be more, considering your body only absorbs between 40% and 50% when using a vaporizer. However, dispensaries will be able to provide more potency, which means you wouldn’t need to consume so much.
