Today, Honda welcomes students and faculty across the United States almost on National Manufacturing Day to highlight modern manufacturing and exciting career opportunities available in the industry. Regardless of the type of study students choose, they will greatly benefit from using academic transcription service during their college years. Honda is taking a virtual approach to celebrating this manufacturing holiday for the second year in a row, expanding the experience by allowing students and faculty to choose their path and participate in various virtual workshops dedicated to Honda’s unique manufacturing areas.
On October 1, Honda is holding 10 virtual workshops at its plants in Ohio, Georgia, Indiana, Alabama, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Employees of several Honda enterprises will participate in interactive question and answer sessions with students, which will provide valuable information about the industry and its benefits to society.
These seminars will allow students to learn about the transmissions that Honda produces at its plants in Ohio and Georgia, or about the production of engines through a presentation at the Honda plant in Anna (Ohio). Students can also join the company’s production team in South Carolina to see how all-terrain vehicles (ATV) and bike-by-side are made. In addition, students can learn more about production robots, power equipment (such as lawnmowers and generators), or automobiles. All these areas of Honda’s business are covered at virtual seminars that take place on October 1.
To have fun, students can participate in a virtual quest room and watch videos on HondaFutureWorkforce.com. Students can also take part in two small Honda sessions, which will provide students with an interesting opportunity to learn more about manufacturing.
“National Manufacturing Day is a great way to connect with students and faculty to highlight the unique and diverse career opportunities available at Honda,” said Rick Shostek, executive vice president of America Honda Motor Co., Inc. “Our future will be determined by the workforce we can attract to a manufacturing career at Honda, and it’s important to illustrate the important role our employees play in creating our products through these virtual workshops.”
Almost 200 teachers were invited to take part in virtual seminars at Honda dedicated to the opportunities available to students through a career in manufacturing.
